Atelier de Chronométrie #7 - Shellman, Japan

The Atelier de Chronométrie #7 has been specially created for Shellman in Japan. The design is characterized by a 37’5mm timeless case made in 18k yellow gold completed by a stunning black galvanic gilt dial with applied Breguet numerals. This dial has been made in the traditional way like in the glorious era of the watchmaking; the 30-40’s. The design is heightened by elegant hands made in 18k yellow gold.

The movement

90 Degrees Côtes de Genève

The movement is based on the mythical Omega cal. 266. This calibre  has 26 new parts entirely handcrafted. The rest of the calibre parts are completely modified and decorated by hand using artisanal machines, tools and methods. After following extensive research, we have created our own machine and improved our skills in order to make our very own genuine Côtes de Genève.

  • 26 parts are completely handmade without using CNC milling machines.

  • The rest of the calibre parts are completely modified and decorated by hand using artisanal tools and methods.

  • The calibre finish includes techniques such as Côtes de Gèneve, anglage, perlage, countersinkinand black polish.

  • Each movement is reinvented each time for each customer, changing technically and aesthetically.
